We are seeking experienced distribution professionals to provide independent third-party safety oversight for ongoing utility construction and maintenance operations. This role is designed for professionals who understand distribution work at a technical level and can engage crews constructively while maintaining authority and independence. Oversight professionals will provide behavioral-based observations, document findings using advanced technology platforms to identify leading indicators and support continuous safety performance improvement.
Responsibilities
- Operate digger derricks, bucket trucks, and pole trailers
- Perform daily inspections and preventive maintenance
- Coordinate with crew chiefs on job site safety
- Maintain accurate equipment logs and DOT records
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A with clean driving record
- 3+ years operating utility-grade heavy equipment
- OSHA-30 certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights
